Grandvaux Villa
Sequence Game
Interior transformation of an existing villa with annex and construction of an extension in Grandvaux.
404 m² SBPU
The project profoundly transforms a villa in Grandvaux by gutting the existing structure and rebuilding it with a timber frame, creating a contemporary and fluid floor plan.
The new structure redefines the hierarchy of spaces and orients them towards the landscape. The living areas are visually and physically seamlessly integrated with the surrounding area, framing views of the Lavaux vineyards and the lake.
The villa comprises contrasting sequences, designed according to the different uses and their relationship to the landscape.
For this renovation in Grandvaux, Claire Duchamp, a SIA-certified architect, developed an architecture that is attentive to the existing structure, its uses, and its location.
